Hack Your Time

At the back of my mind, I always knew that one of the most anxiety-inducing things for me personally is the sense of not having enough time.

How can I do more with the 24 hours I am given just like everyone else?

I want to stay fit. I want to finish the work from my full-time job. I want to read and research new business ideas. I want to invest. I want to be a good son. I want to be a good big brother to my siblings. I want to be a good boyfriend. I want to expand my network and grab coffee or do HH with interesting people.

There are so many things I want to do but there is never enough time to do everything!

I have never stumbled upon a good framework to think about this issue until I happen to listen to this podcast segment about hacking time.

The idea is to replace thinking of "fixed balance time" into a "dynamic, ever-changing" timing in every moment.

fixed balance time —> dynamic, abundant timing

At the present moment, stop thinking about the to-do list you have.

Focus on the current timing. "What is this great timing in my life right now?"

Whenever you're stressed about not having enough time to do things you want to do, divert your attention and think of the moment as a perfect timing with endless opportunities to explore and take advantage of.

Hack your time.
