I heard this phrase from the recent All In podcast and it reminded me think of what I suggest family and friends to do to “wet their beaks” in the crypto world.

Throughout my career, I’ve had 2 instances where I felt tremendous loss for my company’s decision in dismissing talents.

Over the years of being in a startup, I have my fair share of working on government grants for both my startup and clients’ startups.

This is another one of those extremely simple heuristics that works wonders for the modern day human.

When you’re doing a task and is solely responsible for the result, you’re executing.

When you’re delegating a task to someone else but is still responsible for the result, you’re managing.

When you’re guiding someone to do a task and take up responsibility for the result, you’re leading.

Whenever I do 1 on 1’s with direct reports, I’d start with “what’s on your plate?”. It’s a practice imparted to me by my previous manager.

You can learn anything on the internet. And Twitter is one of the best tools to do that.
